What is the
World of Fine Perfumery?
Fine perfumery is one of the world’s oldest and most refined arts, and one which is least understood. The World of Fine Perfumery is a live online workshop that takes you inside this world for the very first time.
In 1.5 hours, you will learn how your sense of smell actually works, how the global perfumery industry is structured, and how a fine fragrance is built — from raw material to finished bottle. Along the way, you will smell and identify real olfactory scents with your instructor, building the vocabulary and sensitivity that fine perfumery demands.
This workshop is designed as a genuine first encounter — not a simplified overview. It is built on the Cinquième Sens Paris curriculum, the same institution that has trained perfumers across Europe for decades. You leave with a real foundation, and a clear sense of where to go next if you want to go further.

Practical: Smelling 3 scents — identifying which is a top, middle, and base note

As the official representative of Cinquième Sens Paris in India, and with over 20 years of experience in fine fragrance, Rajiv brings the highest standard of French perfumery education into an accessible, immersive live workshop designed for the Indian audience.
