The Academy brings the curriculum of Cinquième Sens Paris — one of the world's most prestigious perfumery institutions — to India as a series of live online workshops and masterclasses. Whether you are encountering fine perfumery for the first time or ready to create your own fragrance under expert guidance, the Academy offers a clear, progressive path. Each programme is designed to stand on its own — and to open the door to what comes next.

The Journey
Four stages. Each one stands on its own.
The Academy is built as a circular journey — Discovery, Immersion, Creation, and Cultural each open the door to the next. But there's no prerequisite. WOP, PP, Creation, and Cultural are separate, standalone courses — start anywhere, take any one on its own, or follow the full path in order. It's entirely your choice.
Discovery is where the journey begins. The World of Fine Perfumery workshop gives you a genuine first encounter with the art, science, and soul of fine fragrance — built on the Cinquième Sens Paris curriculum and led by India's only ISIPCA-trained Master Perfumer. No experience is assumed. No kit of prior knowledge is required. Just curiosity.

Creation is the culmination of the Academy journey. The Fragrance Creation Masterclass takes you from understanding fragrance to making it — writing a brief, working with professional facets and accords, and creating an original perfume under expert guidance. This is fine perfumery at its most immersive. It is a Cinquième Sens Paris masterclass, led by Rajiv Sheth, and it is the closest experience to professional perfumery training available in India.

Learn the art of pairing fragrances with occasions, moods, and personal style — and how to layer what you already own to create something entirely your own. Includes an exclusive AGS Pairing range discovery set — 10 proprietary perfumes in 2.5ml glass spray testers and a workbook. Kit is mandatory. No prior knowledge needed.
The Art, Fashion & History of Perfumes
A live online cultural series tracing the story of perfume across civilisations — from ancient Egypt and the Arab world to the niche revolution and the rise of Indian fragrance. Each session is self-contained. Attend any one or all five. Complete the full series to earn a joint Cinquième Sens Paris + All Good Scents certificate.
Scent & Civilisation: Ancient World to 1900
From the etymology of "per fumum" to Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Islamic world, the India connection through Kannauj, the Renaissance, Versailles, and the birth of Grasse — the first 5,000 years of perfume history in 60 minutes. Includes an interactive quiz: match a civilisation to its signature ingredient.
